DIY Friday! Heart Cupcake Toppers

Happy DIY Friday! We are designing a photo shoot and making something similar. So we thought it would be fun to show you a simple idea for fun Valentine's Day decor! We love them for cupcakes, drink stirrers or straws, in a festive arrangement..so many ways! These are cute to put in drinks, desserts or flower arrangements! They super simple and quick to make!

All you need is:

- Some fun scrapbooking paper

-Sticks (we spray painted some bamboo skewers white)

-Glue

-A heart cut out (we used a small Martha Stewart one) or something to trace in the shape of a heart (we used a cookie cutter)

-Scissors

Start punching out some hearts!

Next we cut out some larger hearts that we traced with a heart shaped cookie cutter.

We had some larger white sticks, but wanted some smaller ones for the punched out hearts. So we broke out the spray paint and bamboo skewers!

Glue the stick on one side and then glue the other heart on top.

Press them together and let them dry. You are all done!
