Tori + Phil | Private Home Wedding | Tented Wedding | North Carolina Wedding Planner

When Tori's father Mark, purchased Bellewood almost 25 years ago he had a goal in mind. He wanted to restore the home and the surrounding property to its proper glory so that his oldest daughter could one day be married there. This September that dream came to life.

Tori and Phil met on a camping trip when they were both forced into one tent with 5 other friends to get out of a huge thunder storm. They were convinced that the pine trees were going to come down on their little tent! Coincidentally the week of the wedding and the day of tent installation, a similar storm blew through, wrecking havoc on the reception site and causing around the clock work to bring the lawn back to usable before the wedding! Guests wouldn't have believed that the plush and fresh sod they walked on that evening was 8 inches on mud 2 days before.

Tori and Phil were married in the evening on September 24th with Tori coming down the aisle from her childhood home. Her proud parents looking on.

Tori and Phil were surrounded by all of their family of friends who were absolutely ready to celebrate the night away at Bellewood, complete with a cigar and bourbon bar for the groom and a champagne tower for the bride.

The night was capped off with a fireworks display put on by the bride's brother - because, well, you know Southerners and our fireworks.

The perfect way to end a great night, with a bang! Thank you to the team of vendors that made this day a success:
